Getting ready for desucon :D cosplay and lolita

So yah, early this morning I stepped out on Gardemoen airport yet again. I'm in Oslo, my favorite city (lol), with a bag that weights 16 and something kilos. It's con season dun dun dun and it's just few days since I actually finished my coord for desucon o:

Desucon is norways biggest anime/sci-fi/fantasy whatevs convention and I've been attending it every year since 2008. I'm having some serious con-nerves, it's a really long time since I've been to a con as I moved away from Oslo and haven't really had the money to travel here for every con u-u

Anyway, I thought that I should show you guys some of my pre con preparations, as I've been tumbling my way through the whole thing yah. So be aware of silly gifs hah

Okay, on day one I'm gonna cosplay Dirk Strider from homestuck, my little sister is going as dave. And While I had originally planned to do normal Dirk, I sort of just decided to not do it and do Kodona (boystyle) Dirk instead.

By face is so pudgy lol I don't really think I fit to cosplay Dirk, but he is one of my favorite characters and I just can't resist. Also those sunglasses fuck yeah

On the second day I had originally planned to cosplay a alien in lolita. But I couldn't get the makeup right, so in the end I just decided to go for a sort of OTT lolita coord.

 This was what I had originally planned, you see the white make up and shit. I had bought Ben Nye Liquid make up and while the darker colours are really good, the white kept cracking up on my face. If I could stay completely emotionless an entire day it wouldn't be much of a problem, but I can't stop myself from smiling so it's no good. I want to try a different kind of makeup later, Snazaroo or something dry.

So hey make up testing, it looks great on my crappy webcam, but in real life it's all cracked up and shit.

I made myself a super kawaii bunny headdress and decided to base my coord on it. So a lot of cute jewelry and this wig which is really really un-loli, but I do what I want hah No make up here, I was way to tired to bother, but at least I found all the accessories I wanted to use, and also fixed my purse *u*

Hopefully I will get better pictures of both my outfits at desucon, I'm not very good at taking pictures of myself, especially not in my tiny little room haha

And since I'm already showing of cosplays and shit I will sling in MORE GIFS YEAh

I'm extremely silly as Roxy and while I haven't planned on using this cosplay at any con, I'm hoping for some kind of cosplay meetup while in oslo uwu I brought her along with me weehaw

And then a closet Matryoshka Vocaloid cosplay. I'm hoping to finish this one day, it's a lot of fun to wear, even just alone in my bedroom haha ans I want to do a Panda Hero cosplay after this uwu I also think my face looks pretty with this super animu make up <3

Scetch dump PART TWO

THERE WE GO Part two guys :D
As I mentioned, all of these sketches belong to one story I've been working on lately. So this is basically a sketch dump and an introduction to this story, this story that I have yet to find a fitting name for lol. I've just been calling "thousand lives", because I can't have a one main character, one storyline kind of thing going on. No, there had to be multiple main characters and multiple stories and stuff and stuff yes good!



Okay, so the main idea of the story was the mix of fantasy and sci-fi. And just at the same time I was really hooked to the song "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons, and played around the idea of an after-apocalypse revolution. These two got mixed, and ta-da Thousand Lives :D Also, I've been listening to Kaizers Orchestra a lot lately, so if you know their songs you might notice that I'm indeed a little inspired by them >_>
The main conflict of the story is, of course, the revolution, and the two sides fighting it.

Okay, the story starts with this person, Renske. She is the reason the revolution starts, by motivating and inspiring people to do something about the way they are living. She has the power to create doors, the doors leads to a big, empty place that has more doors. One of the doors leads to the world that Brother lives in.

This is Brother, he lives in a parallel universe all on his own. he kind of pisses himself the first time Renske comes in like "yo, don't kill me :|". Anyway, he helps Renske understanding the situation in her own world. He isn't that much of an important character, I just like his face a lot.

The very first drawing o: pose studies, the clothing designs for Faye, Esther, Daniel and Alice, a small coloured Alice  and a kind of fail drawing of Faye. Alice and Esther are the leaders of the revolution. Alice is a strong woman, she handles heavy weapons and machinery. Esther is more of a peoples person, while he is strong, he sucks with anything that resembles technology, so he is more vital when it comes to recruiting and keeping up the moral.

Faye is a mix between human and an elf like race, that have yet to get a name, ze is Esther's fighting partner, but does not otherwise really care about the revolution. The reason ze joined the group was just to have a reason to kill people without getting punished for it. This is not know to anyone else but Esther, of course. Faye fights with some high tech weapon that's fastened inside hir arms, they come out as high energy ropes...

Esther and his brother David was the only characters that met Renske.

I noticed now that there are no drawings of Daniel in here, but he was born inside the Grand City, which is the city the revolutionaries fight against. He has always been curious about what's outside the city, and somehow he manages to get a pass to go outside and travel to the mines.

this is David, he gets punished for a crime he commits and is sent to the mines at 16. In there he becomes good buddies with a boy named Chaser. Chaser was born inside the mines and has been working there all his life.

Faye (standing on a box, ze is not that tall), Alice (with her old hair), Chaser and Daniel?? I don't even know who that is, so lets just ignore him yes

In one part of the story Daniel, Alice, Esther and Faye goes to this small town by the sea. They meet this girl that can breathe underwater and she shows them a big city that has ended up underwater after the last war.

Okay, now we are going over to the other side. In grand city there is a group of special soldiers trained to fight terrorists (revolutionaries) and other treats from the outside, they are simply named AntiTer.

Okay, Kai all the way to the left, he's a really tough looking guy, but he is actually pretty shy. Then there is just a small portrait of Rohdie, an alien that joined the team. These two are a duo, they work mostly inside the city. Sonny Zacharie and Alma is the other team, they work outside the city. When the two duo's join, they all go outside the city on ADVENTURE mhojojo

I'm not gonna deny that Zacharie is one of my favourite characters, I just really like drawing him. He sort of really likes to get drunk.

OKAy Yes, the best part about making my own story is that my favourite ships can always be canon hahahahha. Okay, but yeah, a tiny kiss between Mehi and Daniel. And uh, Kai and Zacharie yeah U//U <3

And this is what happens when I try to draw at 3am in the morning, I can't even remember having drawn the one at left....  This is just two drawings of Zacharie being drunk >_>

Okay, more seriously now. People have mentioned earlier that they'd like more information about the characters and "stories" behind my scetches. So I'll try to add at least the characters in the drawing, yeah :DD Also, as you can see this is part one of the scetch dump, this is mostly just random shit, the other part will only be drawings from a story I'm working on, so there will be more character introduction like stuff going on in that post

Tried to draw It as a robot, but then I just noped, because the anatomy is so fucked up. I'm sort of laughing at it.

The typical "doodling around insted of doing schoolwork" the coloured doodles and random horns. Guy at the bottom is Nia, whom I also had a drawing of in my WIP dump :D I like to fuck around with colours

More It, this time being a complete homo feminin guy. It basically belongs to a set of four characters, Him, Her, They and It, and I make all kinds of weird story with them, even if they have no "main" story. It is transgendered, and I have fun with changing his gender and sexuality between stories.

There was a meme going around tumblr: "Draw your favorite character in whatever you're wearing". So I drew Dirk Strider from Homestuck :o I kind of half assed most everything, but it still looks okay :P

Okay yeah, I'm so bad at keeping this blog updated. I'm a joke. Yeah

I found an old story there and I though, hey, what if I do the before after meme? It's in norwegian though, so if you don't understand norwegian you can pretty much just leave now, because you wont understand, sorry ;-;

Så, her er den gamle teksten, dette er det alle første avsnittet i historien, og dere får den med skrivefeil og alt...

Hidamari løp alt hun klarte, hun viste hun ikke måtte komme for sent.
Portalen hun hadde brukt til og komme seg til det mystiske stedet hun var på, stengte snart.
Hun kunne ikke bruke magi, og det var sjelden noen var der.
Hidamari var der, fordi hun var på oppdrag.
Men uheldig vis rotet hun seg bort fra de andre,.
Nesten alle i gruppen var der.
Mickel, Cady, Lynne, Laila, Tzatziki, Michelle, Taro, Sirin, ja til og med Sabrina var der.
De var der for og lete etter en skatt, den het Pandora skatten.
Legenden sa at en jente ved navn Pandora ofret livet for denne skatten, den var meget verdifull.

Og her er da den nye som jeg skrev, ikke perfekt, men hallo, jeg har nå blitt litt bedre:

Lyden av lette føtter mot bakken og blad og greiner som raslet høyt i det de ble dyttet til siden for å gi plass til jenta som løp i mellom. Hun hadde dårlig tid, hun kunne ikke komme for sent. Stedet hun, Hidamari, var på var ukjent og mystisk, det var sjelden noen andre var der, ingen som tilfeldigvis kunne plukke henne opp. Den magiske portalen som var brukt for å komme dit, stengte snart. Hun visste det, derfor hadde hun et travelt, derfor løp hun. Faen, om hun bare kunne litt mer magi, noe brukbart, som og åpne portaler. Også om hun for en gangs skyld klarte og holde seg med de andre, men hun lærte aldri, og det visste hun. Hidamari var ankommet øya sammen med ni andre elever fra sin skole, og de hadde delt seg i to grupper. Denne plassen, det var Pandora-øya, og de lette etter Pandoraskatten, et heller farlig oppdrag, med tanke på at øya var så godt som nesten helt ukjent. Og så klart hadde en så mystisk og verdifull skatt en del forskjellige myter på seg, den mest vanlige at en jente med navn Pandora, derfor navnet på både øya og skatten, hadde ofret livet sitt for å beskytte den. Den var som sagt, veldig verdifull.

Hah, det var alt jeg skulel slenge på dere denne gang, men jeg holder på med et nytt innlegg allerede -har fart på ræva-

This work is still progressing

So lately I've been having tons of ideas for drawings and they keep on coming, so I've started on half a ton of drawings. And they are still waiting to get finished, but many of them will probably never get touched again. So I thought maybe I should make a post where I show you guys some of these unfinished pieces ;)

 So, starting of with this one, which I think is the oldest one :P This is my character Nia, who is according to the title of the file, having feels. Nia is crossdresser, so this was actually the forst time I drew him in pants... I also realized when i opened the file know that the anatomy is sort of fucked up >_>

 Aaaand this, is the newest scetch, I'm really happy with it for now, so I guess I'm gonna continue painting it later :O This is Ram, he is Nia's apprentice. And in this picture I'm just trying to get his face right, he's supposed to look a bit sharky.

 

Then we have this baby, this drawing that I quit after starting painting it again for the fifth time -cries-I kinda like the idea for the picture, but as it is now, I'm not skilled enough to actually draw it out, so I will try later. This guys name is Ymbrè, he is the only very religous important character of Elikas. Elikas, I think I will talk more about later, because it's my big badass project!

 This is the God of death, Carlos, seeing something yucky?? I don't even know what I was thinking while drawing this, so I'm just gonna guess it was a expression practice or something.

 And then there is this boy, whose name is Keith, he is a doctor/healer. I have along story for him planned, but I'm a lazy ass, so I've never gotten to the point where I have written any of it down. But basically, a lot of shit happens, so he starts smoking, and I wanted to draw that. olè!

And then, last but not least, we have this chick, Alice, whom I only drew because I wanted to get her design down on "paper" and in colour, the colour part never happened.

And I'm just gonna throw in this shait right here, it's not a wip, but me trying to draw different characters, making expressions, and still lokking like different characters, I still have a really long way to go, both when it comes to facial expressions and drawing different faces on my characters, they all tend to have sort of the same facial shape >->''
